It’s great to be back at Universal Studios Japan! My previous visit was during the Spring of 2015, and this year’s jaunt was amid Autumn, concurrent with the outset of the theme park’s holiday celebrations.
I could still remember how elated I was when I first toured Universal Studios Japan, and the same feeling of excitement surged through me when I finally had a gaze on the Universal Studios globe. It’s a common sight to witness multitude of delighted people taking photos with the icon, while enthusiastic children play around the emblem; and the thrill is just contagious!
What’s New at Universal Studios Japan
For the thrill-seekers, the newest addition to the Universal Studios Japan Ride attraction –Flying Dinosaur- will not disappoint. It’s an out of this world ride! Imagine yourself being seized from behind by a Pteranodon and pull you up high into the sky, experiencing 360 degrees swings through the world of Jurassic Park. Exhilarating!
And to celebrate Universal Studios Japan’s 15th anniversary, the theme park introduced REBORN – an over the top and blood pumping parade that aims to revitalize the guests and nostalgically brings back that magical feeling of being a kid again. Be sure to let loose, sing and move to the groove with the Reborn dancers and singers!
Also, at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, guests may now practice their magic wand skills! A Potterhead myself, I had a wonderful time acing two of the spells, and was happy to at least pass the second one. Head down to Hogsmeade and rehearse your wand spell casting.
