8 flights, 4 different destinations in a span of 8 days, my first adventure with my Fujifilm X-A3 was indeed one for the books. In that duration, I had short tarries in Manila, Osaka, Kyoto and Taipei, and I have over 300 photos taken with my Fujifilm X-A3 as keepsake. 😉
My Fujifilm Story
My first fling with Fujifilm was Christmas of last year, when I got myself my first mirrorless camera – a Fujifilm X-A2, which I named Tiana. (Yeah, I know. Am such a geek! haha). From a previous DSLR enthusiast, the switch was something I would describe as “beneficial.” I am a blogger maintaining two domains – Cebu Lifestyle Blog, iLuvCebu.com, and Life+Style & Travel Blog, Doyzkie.com ; and also a Lifestyle correspondent for Cebu’s Only Independent Newspaper, Cebu Daily News. Everyday, I have about three or more event coverages, and you can just imagine how much strain it is on the neck carrying a DSLR all day!
Lightweight and easy to use, the Fujifilm XA-2 weighs only about 350 grams, with the battery and the memory card; and you can get beautiful captures with the preset shooting modes, even without reading the manual (I know because I didn’t. teehee). But for a more effortless experience, I suggest you do, specially for first time Fujifilm camera users.
Recently, Fujifilm launched the X-A3 in Cebu and guess who got an upgrade – ME! haha. Well, who wouldn’t want to get an upgraded version of a camera you already are head over heels for. The Fujifilm X-A3 can effectively capture up to 24.2 MegaPixels, from its 16.3MP predecessor. Meaning sharper, clearer photos! The touch screen operation makes it convenient to view and navigate through your captured photos. And now, the shooting modes have three level presets for a simpler photo setting process. And don’t you just adore its retro design? Stunning right?
And yes, my black Fujifilm X-A3 is named Ulric, just in case you were wondering. 😉
