Around Marina Bay is where three of Singapore’s Iconic landmarks are situated. Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade and the Merlion Park is normally packed with both tourists and locals during the weekends. With performances and art installations at the Esplanade, premium shopping and dining experience at Marina Bay Sands and a pictorial session with the emblematic Merlion are well-know attractions that draw in big crowds during Saturdays and Sundays. And with great hawker choices at Makansutra and Strarbucks 100th Store located very near the vicinity, it’s a perfect weekend chill spot for friends and families.
With our (my best friend, Marilou and I) lunch appointment getting cancelled the last minute, had time to do a quick OOTD shoot at Esplanade’s roofdeck , which then transitioned to hours of afternoon chill-out at the garden of the iconic durian dome. And again, time ticked swiftly and it’s dinner time with my college friends at Marina Bay Sands which was then wrapped up with a catch up session over coffee at Starbucks 100th store beside Fullerton Hotel. Knowing the day’s itinerary involving a great deal of walking, I went out with light and easy set – printed white button-down short sleeved shirt (Topman), piqued trousers (H&M), white sneakers (Zara) and watch from Daniel Wellington.
