Would December be the most hectic month of the year for you as well? If your answer is a resounding yes, I wonder how you can juggle work + beating deadlines before Christmas break + Christmas parties + Charity activities + Christmas events + Christmas shopping and more without crumbling! Wheew! I know, it’s really challenging, right?
I’ve been reading books and online articles and have jotted down some pointers on how to be more productive, less the stress. A very timely post for the holiday rush!
Here’s a shortlist: three good pointers on being more productive this season.
1. Manage Time Effectively
Writing down a schedule, a list of task to accomplish and keeping a timetable for projects will be very helpful. It is also advisable to bring a list of things to buy to save time from going back and forth the aisles on a gift shop or a supermarket. But remember not to cramp your schedule, and create buffer times to deal with the unexpected.
2. Sometimes we just need to Say “No”
Having too much to do and too little time to accomplish them is a common cause of stress. Too many parties to attend to this holiday? Don’t force it if you can’t. This season, “bawal magkasakit.” teehee
3. Get the right amount of Sleep
Sleeping 8 hours will greatly help in elevating the mood and makes us less irritable.
I am personally working on pointers number 2 and 3 since I have a problem on turning down invites and sleeping for 8 hours. haha.
But one thing I’ve mastered well is staying cool even under pressure, ROARing my way to a favorable outcome. 😉
Check out my ROARing all-black outfit during the #HelloMotoCebu launch yesterday (Hello Moto Cebu Launch soon on iLuvCebu.com), highlighted by a King Lion Embossed jacket I got from a night market in Taipei. Staying stolid amidst the holiday rush! 😉
