When Bisaya friends come together to travel, for sure it’ll be one crazy trip. I, together with media personalities from Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Bacolod flew to the capital for a staycation and quick catch up at Summit Hotel Magnolia. And the photo below perfectly describes the quick sojourn – insanely peppy! Haha!
The get-together was packed with group bonding activities – from solving puzzles and mysteries at Breakout QC in the afternoon, to a pre-dinner shopping at Robinsons Magnolia; from enjoying gastronomic feasts, to capping the night with a slumber dessert party at one of the eight themed suites. And some even went to catch the last full show of Wonder Woman at Robinsons Magnolia Cinema.
The group did a sidetrip after a quick afternoon siesta at a nearby attraction called Breakout. We spent an exciting hour, working together in trying to solve puzzles to escape being devoured by a zombie. Too bad we failed to walk out in time, but if given 2 minutes more, we could’ve conquered the maze! Next time, I am sure we’ll be seeing our names on the Breakout Success Wall!
The long day was fun but I’d admit that the activities and the travel were a bit taxing, good thing that Summit Hotel Magnolia was the perfect home-away-from-home! The nifty room we were checked-in at got all we need for a pleasant stay – comfortable high quality beddings, chic bathroom with premium bath products, and wait for it….. a dedicated WiFi router connection in every room! 😉
The Summit Hotel Magnolia is a unique 82-room boutique hotel that showcases functional design starting from its elegant lobby, common areas to its stylish rooms and themed suites. It is conveniently located within the Robinsons Magnolia complex, the boutique hotel offers rooms outfitted with stylish interiors, luxe furniture and vibrant artworks.
And did I mention the sumptuous complimentary super breakfast at The Clubhouse Restaurant? Yum!
The VisMin team had a burpin’ fun time during our overnight staycation at The Summit Hotel Magnolia. But our adventure did not end here, as we head over to Summit Ridge Tagaytay. More about it on my next blogpost. 😉
