It was my concluding three (3) days for this particular HK visit and Marco Polo Gateway Hotel was a great choice to spend my last two (2) nights at. Great shopping choices in the area, check! Accessible to many places of interest, check! Near the train station, check! Awesome food options in range, check! A bath tub in my hotel room, check! haha
Tucked in Canton Road (not to mention housed in Harbour City – Hong Kong’s largest shopping complex), it is where the upscale retail stores and shopping centers are, a block away from the Tsim Sha Tsui train station, a few minute walk to Hong Kong Heritage Center and a walking distance to Din tai Fung! 🙂
Just came from a three-day tour around The New Territories and staying at the Gateway Hotel was for sure the perfect way to close the 10-day Macau -New Territories – Hong Kong itinerary with a laid back plan of just shopping, piggin’ out, wandering around TST and enjoying the hotel and in-room amenities of the Gateway Hotel.
Stayed at a 58 square meter Marco Polo Gateway Hotel Superior Suite which comes with a separate lounge, fast complimentary in-room Wi-Fi service, a Nespresso machine to make amazing cups of coffee, an in-room safe and a mini bar. The accommodation also comes with The Continental Club privileges and the amenities extend even if you stepped out of the hotel. You can get shopping discounts at selected malls and outlets when you present your Marco Polo Gateway Hotel keycard at the cashier before paying your bill. A complimentary handy smartphone which you can bring along when touring HK capable of hitting up to three (3) devices at a time with fast Wi-Fi connection and unlimited local and international calls to United States, Philippines, Japan, China and United Kingdom. Now, that’s convenient and thoughtful. 🙂
Plus, dining at Three on Canton would make anyone giddy with the restaurant’s great tasting spread, delicious egg tarts and a Movenpick Ice Cream station. Yum! ^_^
